Recap of 2010

I thought it would be fun to do a recap of some of my favorite crafts of 2010. I've managed to gather many new followers the last half of this year so some of you may have missed a few of these.
Keep in mind this is not all the crafts I've shared, just some of my faves!

January - April

May - June

Blogiversary Event!
In June I also celebrated my blog's one year anniversary with a big blowout party with 5 giveaways in one day all made/designed by yours truly! I look forward to partying again in 2011.

July - September

October

November

And, of course, December was all about my first annual Homemade Christmas Party!
You can find the party recap here.

So what do you think? See any favorites?

What was your favorite project you made in 2010?
Leave me a link in the comments, and I'll go check it out!

Merry Christmas! {& SOME GOODIES!}

This is my last post until well after Christmas!

I'm going to be spending some time with family and catching up on some projects around the house over the next week (we're giving our spare room a makeover so we can move our little guy out of the nursery!).

I hope you ALL have a very Merry Christmas!

I'll leave you with some tasty treats I've been cooking up in the kitchen the last week.

Pumkin Cake in a Jar
I've been itching to make these for a long time and thought they would be the perfect coworker gift! I used the Libby's pumpkin roll recipe and baked the cake then cut it up with a biscuit cutter to fit into the jars. I put layers of the cream cheese frosting between each layer. My coworkers didn't mind that their gifts had to be refrigerated! I used my Silhouette to make the tags on top of the jars.

{Note: I made 10 jars of cakes and doubled the recipe for the pumpkin roll. I ended up with half a cake left and hardly any icing!}

Tasty Treats
A sampling of the treats I sent to our daycare as a huge thank you to all of the teachers for taking such good care of my son while my husband and I are at work. ♥

Clockwise starting at the top left:
Peanut Blossom Cookies (with mint Hershey Kisses) a la Oopsey Daisy,
Peppermint Pretzel Melts a la My Computer is My Canvas (I really wanted to include the unique M&M nativity message with them but ran out of time),
chocolate covered pretzel sticks {with sprinkles!},

These were a huge hit with the daycare staff!

I'll see you all later next week for a quick recap of The Scrap Shoppe projects in 2010!

Happy Holidays!
